The city of Adelaide hosted the F-1 G.P. from
1985 to 1994 they block off half of the streets
in the city square mile to make a temporary
We did not get paid to work there but each of
us got two pit passes to go any were on the
circuit, so when we were hungry we just went
to one of the hospital tents and eat what ever
we liked for free, we all so got to go into the
main pits of the F-1 cars.
The best way to tow the G.p. cars was to lift
them onto the tray of a flat bed truck, and to
stop them from moving we sat on each of
the four wheels...
